Echo Walking Festival
A festival of walking including walks from Waihi Beach.
Orokawa Bay to William Wright Falls - Saturday 21st April Leaving from the Northern end of Waihi Beach follow the undulating
track with breathtakingly beautiful coastal views, pass by popular rock
fishing spots and walk through timeless native bush....Orokawa Bay
emerges as a stunningly beautiful, pohutukawa fringed beach. From there
the track leads up to William Wright Falls.
Includes several small stream crossings, gorgeous native Nikau Palms and abundant birdlife. Bring a picnic lunch.

Pet friendly walk - Sunday 22nd April
If your dog is well socialised and likes to run freely
along the beach, swim in the surf and chase sticks and balls then this is a must. Low tide is around 1.30pm
on Sunday and that is when the walk will start. The kind folk at Beach Vets have agreed to sponsor
the walk so there will be some treats and cool things that you get to
take home. Your guide is Jacqui Knight.
